Congratulations to the 165 undergraduate and 6 graduate students graduating in the class of May 2017! Prior to the commencement events, the Department met to honor staff, students, and faculty for their service to the department and University.

Memorial Symposium


On May 18-19, 2017 the Department will host the Timothy C. Hall Memorial Symposium to recognize and honor Tim’s illustrious career and his enduring scientific legacy.  Invited speakers are some of Tim’s former students and postdocs who have gone on to establish outstanding careers, themselves.  The symposium is sponsored by a generous gift from Dr. Eric Yong Xu ‘93.
